Phil Hahn

Phil Hahn has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Phil currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at AFWERX and SpaceWERX, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Director at AFWERX from July 2020 to April 2023. In 2021, Phil joined the United States Air Force as the Assistant Chief - Strategic Engagements for the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF/AQE - IMA). Phil also served as the Commander of the Communications & Cyber Squadron at the US Air Force Reserve from June 2019 to November 2021. Phil has experience in the business sector as well, with roles such as Board Member at Precision Body and Service Company from June 2020 to October 2021, and Operator in Residence at Generational Transfer Entrepreneurs, LLC from July 2018 to June 2020. Phil has also worked as an Investment Associate at Goodwin Point from October 2017 to February 2018, and as a Summer Associate in the Corporate Development Program at Liberty Mutual Insurance from June 2017 to August 2017. Phil's extensive background includes various positions at the United States Air Force, ranging from Test Program Manager to Avionics Engineer, from June 2006 to October 2016. Phil Hahn has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business. Phil also has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Phil obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Military Institute. Phil also participated in an International Exchange Program at CUHK Business School. In addition, they attended Marine Corps University for the Command & Staff College program and USAF Air Command and Staff College. Phil has obtained certifications in GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification), Program Management (Level 2), Systems Engineering (Level 3), and Test & Evaluation (Level 3) from various institutions.
