Dave D. has over 10 years of experience in quality assurance engineering and leadership roles. Their most recent position was as a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer at SPAN, where they started in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Lead at Spin - Electric Scooter Sharing from 2020 to 2022.

Dave has also held roles such as Senior QA Engineer Lead at Bird, where they were responsible for the Scoot rider app and vehicles post-Bird acquisition, and Senior Quality Assurance Lead at Scoot Networks. Dave was the Senior Quality Assurance Lead / Manager at Chime - Mobile Banking, where they established processes and best practices and built a team of 4 senior QA engineers.

Dave has experience in the micro-mobility product space and the challenges of working with hardware and software products. Dave has also worked on innovative projects such as an AR automotive driving assistant at Navdy and the development of a walkie-talkie messenger app at Voxer.

Dave D. completed a course in Creative Writing at UC Berkeley Extension in the year 2011. In 1990, they also attended The Lowell Institute at MIT for an introductory course on C Programming. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Programming for Everybody (Python) from Coursera in August 2014.
