Samantha Wang

Samantha Wang has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Samantha is currently working as a Senior Device Software Engineer at SPAN since October 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Controls Software Engineer at Rivian from September 2021 to October 2022.

From August 2018 to September 2021, Samantha worked at General Motors as a Software Design Engineer, Scrum Lead. Samantha also gained experience as a Hardware Test Engineering Intern at Apple in May 2017-August 2017 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Dell in June 2016-August 2016.

During their time at Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts from September 2013 to May 2016, Samantha worked as a Recording Engineer. Samantha also had internships as a Test Automation Intern at Spiceworks in May 2015-August 2015 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University in June 2014-July 2014.

Samantha Wang holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, which they obtained in 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering at the same institution. In 2019, Samantha obtained a certification in "Design for Six Sigma - Black Belt" from General Motors. Additionally, in August 2021, they received an Advanced Cybersecurity Certificate from Stanford University.
