Helen Behn has a long and varied work experience. Helen began their career in 2000 as a Website & Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant at Akins Marketing & Design. In 2002, they moved to the Baton Rouge Business Report as a Marketing (Public Relations) Coordinator. In 2003, they began freelancing as a Marketing Consultant and Graphic & Web Designer. In 2004, they took on the role of Marketing Manager at Angstrom Sciences. In 2006, they started working at the Pittsburgh Penguins as a Pittsburgh First Project Manager and Executive Assistant. Helen also worked at American Eagle Outfitters in 2006 as a Web Production Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the President / Chief Merchandising Officer. In 2009, they became a Production Manager and Program Manager at Lockerz, Inc. In 2012, they became an Independent Consultant at P3 Executive Consulting, LLC. In 2015, they founded, invented, and became the CEO of Spand-Ice, designing back pain relief, belly support, and recovery wraps for pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. Finally, in 2019, they became the Chief Of Staff at Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation.

Helen Behn received their Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 2000, majoring in Visual Communications and Psychology. Helen also received a BA in Psychology from the same university in 2000.
