Amparo Garrido

Amparo Garrido is a prominent Visual Artist and Filmmaker, with a career spanning from 1990 to the present. Since November 2011, Amparo has served as the Institutional Image Coordinator and Science and Culture Activities Director at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO). In this role, Amparo leads CNIO Arte, an initiative fostering collaboration between leading scientists and artists to explore intersections of scientific research and artistic creation, supported by the Banco Santander Foundation. Additionally, Amparo is responsible for Photography and Video at CNIO, overseeing all visual materials and coordinating efforts related to the centre's new identity.
