Laura García Expóstio is a Senior Scientist and Lab Manager at the CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre since February 2021, focusing on the development of new nucleic acid detection tools utilizing CRISPR technology. Previously, Laura held the position of Senior Scientist at the University of Pittsburgh from July 2014 to June 2019, specializing in DNA repair and oncology. Additional experience includes roles as a Research and Development Scientist in immunology, and as a Research Assistant in virology and immunology, investigating molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in early HIV-1 infection.
