Daniele Piras

Daniele Piras is a seasoned scientist and project manager at TNO, specializing in acoustics and underwater warfare since January 2016. Prior experience includes serving as a nanomechanics analyst at S[&]T Corporation from February 2014 to January 2016 and as an R&D engineer at the University of Twente from May 2009 to December 2013, where the focus was on developing a photoacoustic device for mammography. Daniele Piras completed a PhD at the University of Padova between November 2005 and April 2009, following an Eng.D. in mechanical engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, earned from 1999 to 2004.
