James Mosby MD FACEP has over 40 years of work experience in the medical field. James started their career as an Attending ER Physician at Lutheran Hospital in 1977 and continued in that role until 1993. James then joined St. Anthony Central/North ER as an Attending ER Physician from 1993 to 2008. In 2009, they became the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center. In this role, they ensure that the medical and trauma care provided by the staff adheres to current practice guidelines and meets the standard of care. Additionally, they handle scheduling and physician staffing.

James Mosby MD FACEP completed their Bachelor's of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology at Howard University from 1965 to 1969. James then attended Indiana University School of Medicine from 1969 to 1973, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Following this, James Mosby MD FACEP pursued further education at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 1973 to 1976, focusing on Surgery/Radiology.
