Head Of People And Culture at Sparck

Emma Layton has a diverse work experience starting from 2010 until the present. Their most recent role is as the Head of People and Culture at SPARCK, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at THRIVE LXP as the Chief Operating Officer from August 2020 to June 2021, and as the Chief Content Officer from October 2017 to August 2020. Emma also supported the Mind Click acquisition at Learning Pool from January 2017 to September 2017. At Mind Click, they held two roles, starting as a Senior Project Manager in September 2013 and then becoming the Head of Production from March 2015 to January 2017. Before that, they worked at BYG Systems as a Project Manager and Senior Instructional Designer from May 2012 to August 2013, and as a Project Coordinator and Instructional Designer from May 2011 to April 2012. Emma also served as the Radio Roadshow Programme Manager at the East Midlands Regional Partnership for Gifted and Talented from August 2010 to April 2011.

Emma Layton completed their education history with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from the University of Bristol, which was obtained between 2004 and 2007. Following this, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Radio Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, which was completed in 2008. Additionally, Emma Layton obtained the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from PRINCE2 in October 2014.
