Gilbert Nasibmana

Rwanda Country Director at Spark MicroGrants

Gilbert is committed to community development in Rwanda. He has worked with both public and civil society institutions. Gilbert worked for the Ministry of Education as a primary school teacher. During his time as a teacher, Gilbert coordinated a re-education program for street kids in Musanze with the Catholic church. He also worked for Grannello di Senape in Rwanda, focusing on formal and informal education in rural areas. Gilbert also represented Slow Food Foundation in Rwanda, helping to coordinate programs for a local NGO, GRAIN DE SENEVE. Gilbert graduated with a bachelors degree in Public Administration and Good Governance from INES Ruhengeri, and studied the Italian language and culture at MILANO University in Italy.
