Chris Daniels

Chris Daniels has extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, with a background in chemical engineering. Chris currently holds the position of Associate Director at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., where Chris leads a team focusing on high-throughput automation workflows for gene therapy. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Merck for over 14 years, holding various positions including Associate Principal Scientist in vaccine process development and Research Biochemist in structural biology. Chris has a strong background in protein purification, cell line development, and process scale-up for purification of biologics. Chris holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and both an MChE and MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
