Jeremy Allen

Vice President, Head Of Government Affairs at Spark Therapeutics

Jeremy Allen has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to government affairs and policy. Jeremy started their career as a Program Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 1998. Jeremy then worked as a Legislative Director at Powers, Pyles, Sutter & Verville, P.C. from 2000 to 2002.

In 2002, Jeremy joined the U.S. House of Representatives, where they served as a Health Policy Advisor for Rep. Mike Bilirakis and later as a Health Policy Coordinator for the Energy and Commerce Committee until 2004. Jeremy then transitioned to the private sector and became a Director of Federal Affairs and Political Programs at Johnson & Johnson from 2004 to 2008.

Afterwards, Jeremy worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy from 2008 to 2011. Jeremy then joined America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), initially as a Vice President of Federal Affairs from 2011 to 2013, and later as a Senior Vice President of Federal Affairs until 2017.

Currently, Jeremy holds the position of Vice President and Head of Government Affairs at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. since March 2017.

Jeremy Allen attended Cornell University from 1993 to 1998, where they pursued a BS/MPA degree in Industrial and Labor Relations.
