Jinpian Diao-Piezunka

Jinpian Diao-Piezunka is the Head of Technical Development at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. since July 2021. Previously, Diao-Piezunka served as the Global Head of BioProcess Engineering at Sanofi from January 2015 to June 2021, overseeing the establishment of a new global BioProcess Engineering group and managing various upstream and downstream development processes. Prior experience includes roles as Process Life-Cycle Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where leadership was provided for late-stage therapeutic monoclonal antibody projects, and Group Leader at Genentech, focusing on purification processes for recombinant proteins. Jinpian Diao-Piezunka holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University, and a combined BS/MS in Biochemical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
