Lawrence Moon is an accomplished neurobiologist with extensive experience in preclinical neuroscience and therapeutic research. Currently serving as the Pre-clinical CNS research team leader at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., Lawrence has a prominent academic presence at King's College London since 2005, holding positions such as Visiting Professor in Neural Injury and Repair and tenured University Reader, where significant research focuses on AAVs for spinal cord injury and stroke therapies. Lawrence co-founded Research Devices Ltd, specializing in biomedical research devices, and has a background that includes postdoctoral research at the University of Miami and contributions to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
