Yvonne Clark

Yvonne Clark has extensive experience in corporate compliance and law. Yvonne currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Compliance at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Head of Corporate Compliance at the same company from July 2021 to January 2023. From June 2020 to July 2021, they worked as a Senior Corporate Compliance Counsel at Spark Therapeutics, Inc.

Before joining Spark Therapeutics, Inc., Yvonne was a Commercial Counsel at Merck from April 2018 to June 2020. Yvonne provided legal support to stakeholders in Merck's U.S. Human Health Division, advising on various issues such as anti-kickback and fraud and abuse laws, compliance with healthcare and state laws, and internal policies.

Yvonne also has experience at law firms. Yvonne worked at Pepper Hamilton LLP as a Partner from January 2013 to April 2018, and as an Associate from March 2009 to December 2012. Prior to that, they were an Associate at Dechert LLP from September 2003 to February 2009.

In addition to their work in corporate law, Yvonne has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Temple University in August 2015. Yvonne also gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk to Judge James McGirr Kelly at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from September 2002 to August 2003.

Yvonne Clark received their J.D. degree in Law from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Duquesne University, earning a B.A. in English and Psychology from 1995 to 1999.
