Uri Ran

Uri Ran has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Uri started their career in 1995 as a Project Manager at Callware Technologies, where they developed CTI applications for call centers and integrated products with PBX manufacturers. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Lecturer and Consultant at Sela Group. In 2001, they joined Orpak Industries as an Account Manager, leading development teams and implementing software development processes. At Pacific Software, they worked as a Lecturer and Consultant from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, they served as the VP Project Management at PeerTV. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Aeronautics, where they established and managed the Embedded Real-Time Department. At UAV Companies, from 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Consultant, focusing on software development and system engineering for UAV systems and flight simulators. In 2015, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer. Uri then joined Western Digital in 2017 as a Senior Manager of Quality and Reliability. Currently, they are working at SparkBeyond as a Release Manager since December 2019 and previously worked as a System Engineer from 2018 to 2019.

Uri Ran completed their education in a chronological order. Uri first attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Following this, they pursued further studies at Landmark from 1999 to 2003, earning an IL degree in Ontology. Lastly, they enrolled in Heriot-Watt University from 2004 to 2007, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management.
