Marissa Huysentruyt

Marissa Huysentruyt is a skilled developer currently employed at Sparkbox since July 2022, with previous experience as an Apprentice Full-Stack Developer. Prior to their current role, Marissa served as an Elementary Band Director at Fraser Public Schools from September 2015 to August 2022. Additionally, Marissa has a background as a Freelance Musician and Private Teacher, specializing as an Oboe Instructor from August 2005 to July 2022. Marissa has also worked as a Sales Associate at Gymboree from April 2013 to July 2015, and held the position of Double Reed Coach/Clinician at Anchor Bay High School from September 2010 to March 2015. Marissa contributed as a Student Conductor for the Wayne State University Concert Band in late 2014 and was involved as a Student Instructor in the Wayne State University Homeschool Music Project in early 2013. Marissa earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and a Teaching Certification in Music Education from Wayne State University between 2010 and 2015.
