Akash James

Akash James is an experienced AI Architect specializing in Visual AI, currently serving at SparkCognition since May 2022. In addition to this role, Akash holds the position of Jetson AI Ambassador at NVIDIA since April 2021, focusing on democratizing AI through workshops. Akash also works as a Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, researching wildfire detection techniques until March 2024. Previously, Akash contributed to Integration Wizards Solutions from July 2018 to May 2022, where responsibilities included designing AI workflows, developing Intelligent Video Analytics pipelines, and optimizing systems for embedded devices. Early career experiences include roles as an Internet of Things and Machine Learning Engineer, an Internet of Things Intern, and a Product Developer at iB Hubs, as well as a Java Intern at HCL career development center. Akash holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from REVA University, completed in 2018.
