Malissa Martin is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit and artistic sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO at SparkWheel since July 2023, Malissa previously held the same title at Communities In Schools of Mid-America, Inc. from June 2007 to June 2023. Additionally, Malissa owned and marketed artwork through MartinHouse, Inc. as an artist from October 2005 to April 2020. Malissa's leadership roles also include serving as President of the Lawrence Art Guild from July 2010 to June 2011 and as a board member from 2008 to 2010. Prior to these positions, Malissa was the Director of Resource Development at Communities In Schools Houston, Inc. from August 1999 to September 2005. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Composite Writing from Sam Houston State University, along with studies at New York University and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
