Tom Gurka

Tom Gurka has worked in the design industry for over a decade. In 2007, they started working at COG1 as an Interactive Designer and Creative Director, where they were responsible for design, illustration, animation, motion graphics, and coding. Tom also developed and pitched new concepts to current and potential clients, as well as managed the production process. In 2012, they moved to Sequence to become a Senior Visual Designer, working on projects ranging from service design to interface design. Tom was the lead designer on multiple client accounts and worked on internal company ideas such as branded applications and skunkwork projects. In 2014, they became Vice President of Design at Zuli, Inc. and in 2016, they became Head of Design at Token, Inc. In 2021, they joined TiFiPay as Head of Design and in 2022, they joined Spatial as Head of Design and Creative Director of Product Design.

Tom Gurka attended the Art Institutes of California, San Francisco from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media & Design.
