Daniel Mateo has worked in the hospitality industry since 2005. Daniel began their career as a Front Office Manager at the Gran Hotel Canarias in 2005. In 2006, they were hired to open the first Me Hotel by Meliá Hotels as a Front Office Manager. In 2009, they were Rooms Division Manager & Revenue Manager at Radisson Blu, responsible for the recruitment of staff and positioning the hotel in Madrid. From 2011 to 2015, Daniel worked at MICROS Systems Inc as an Account Manager and Consultant/Free Lance, contracted for two of the biggest projects by Micros Fidelio Spain. In 2021, they were Project Manager at K2 Partnering Solutions and Sales Director at ASER IT. Daniel was also an Independant Consultant Sales from 2020 to 2021. Most recently, Daniel was Hospitality Manager at Minsait from 2022 to 2023 and is currently Strategic Partnerships Lead/VP EMEA at Spazious, the E-vent company.

Daniel Mateo attended Mount Ida College from 1994 to 1995, studying Hotel & Restaurant Management. Daniel has also obtained multiple certifications from HubSpot Academy, including Content Marketing Certified, Guided Client Onboarding Certified, HubSpot CMS for Marketers Certified, HubSpot Marketing Software Certified, HubSpot Sales Software Certified, HubSpot Services Software Certified, HubSpot Inbound Certified, HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certified, and HubSpot Inbound Sales Certified, all obtained between April and June 2021.
