Paulo Linhares

Paulo Linhares has over 8 years of professional work experience in the software development industry. Paulo began their career in 2012 as an Intern at DaTerra Web, where they worked developing websites and web systems as well as giving maintenance on those. In 2013, they moved to VSETE as a Frontend Developer. In 2014, they co-founded BRZ Digital, switching between project manager and web developer roles. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sentis Systems Inc., developing Sensor Button. Paulo also worked at (iS) Internet Sistemas as a Web Developer. Later in 2016, they joined Thrillism as a Full Stack Developer, building a marketplace for adventures. In 2018, they became a Frontend Developer at Frontmen - Frontend Experts, developing applications using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (Angular/ReactJS). In 2019, they joined Fontem Ventures B.V. as a Senior Frontend Developer, helping to build and scale a multi-country e-commerce platform. In 2021, they moved to Speakap as a Senior Frontend Engineer and Team Lead, helping to refactor a legacy product and managing a team of 5 developers. Currently, they are a Senior Frontend Engineer at MessageBird.

Paulo Linhares studied Computer Science at City College of San Francisco from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Android and iPhone app programming. Paulo also attended Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Analista de Sistemas in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.
