Shaun’ta Whitehead-Ade, MHA, has dedicated her professional career to high-quality, efficient healthcare delivery and population health management. Her primary goal is to assure a more equitable healthcare experience for all demographics, with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) being her passion. Prior to joining Special Health Resources, Shaun’ta has over fifteen years of experience serving in various leadership capacities in both the non-profit and private healthcare sectors. She is an expert in strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance; using these skills to drive service expansion in a patient-centered fiscally sound manner.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Aurora University and a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from St. Francis University. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association.

In her role as Interim Chief Executive Officer at Special Health Resources for Texas, Shaun’ta oversees a comprehensive array of operational and administrative services while motivating staff to deliver measurable, accountable, cost-effective results that further the mission of the organization.

During her free time, Shaun’ta enjoys being with her family, traveling, and listening to music.
