Melanie Barrios

Melanie Barrios, M.A., possesses a diverse background in development, social media, marketing, and legal support. Currently serving as a Development Intern and previously a Social Media and Marketing Intern with Special Olympics Southern California since February 2021, Melanie has also held the position of Legal Assistant/Academic Affairs Coordinator at Southwestern Law School since January 2017, providing comprehensive administrative support to the Vice Dean. Additional experience includes roles as a Production Assistant with NFL On Location Experiences and Rams Ambassador for the Los Angeles Rams. Prior experience encompasses an internship with the California State Assembly, where community events were coordinated, and a cheerleading coaching position with arc After School & Experiential Education. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from California State University, Long Beach.
