Julian Stokes

Julian Stokes currently serves as the President of Transportation at SPG - Specialty Program Group, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this role, Julian served as EVP at DUAL North America from January 2016 to October 2025, and as Senior Vice President/Partner at Chelsea Risk Management from March 2004 to October 2025. Earlier experience includes a position as Vice President at Willis in San Francisco from May 2000 to September 2003, focusing on business development and account management for marine and property/casualty insurance. Julian also worked as General Manager at GSIS from January 1999 to May 2000, managing an MGA in the UK for cargo and transport liabilities, and began a career at Thomas Miller as an Account Executive from August 1995 to December 1998, where responsibilities included managing a US marine liability underwriting portfolio.
