Jen Slater

Jen Slater has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jen started their career at Dyson in 2005 as an Application Support Analyst and gradually worked their way up to become a Digital IT Production Manager. Jen then joined Valtech in 2018 as a Project Manager. Currently, they are employed at Specsavers, where they have held the positions of Head of Digital Portfolio and Head of Digital Delivery - Content & Product Discovery. Overall, Jen has gained expertise in various digital roles and has successfully managed projects in different organizations.

Jen Slater obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Plymouth, from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended St Julian's School in Newport and completed their high school education. Additionally, Jen has obtained several certifications including DevOps Leader from the DevOps Institute in 2022, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2017, and Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in 2016.
