Malene Prehn

Malene Prehn has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Malene started their career at KPMG Denmark in 2009 as a Revisor and worked there until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Intern revisor at Arbejdernes Landsbank. In 2016, they joined VELUX as a Group Auditor, where they reviewed internal business processes, advised subsidiaries on internal controls, and coordinated with external auditors. Malene stayed with VELUX until 2021. In the same year, they also served as the Risk & Compliance Manager at LEO Pharma. Moving on to 2022, they joined HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær as the Head of Financial Compliance - Senior Risk & Control Partner. Currently, they are the Head of Controls Excellence at Spectris plc, starting from 2023. Additionally, they hold the position of Organisationsbestyrelsesformand at Humlebæk Boligselskab since 2021.

Malene Prehn obtained their Master's degree in Auditing from Copenhagen Business School, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in HD Regnskab at the same institution from 2009 to 2013. Malene completed their secondary education at Espergærde Gymnasium from 2005 to 2007, graduating with a focus in Matematisk (Mathematics).
