Shannon McDonnell is currently serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore Institute for Clinical & Translational Research, contributing to research in the Colloca Lab that explores the use of Virtual Reality to treat chronic pain. In addition, Shannon works as a Federal Occupational Health RN at Spectrum Healthcare Resources and has prior experience as an Emergency Room Nurse at UHS and a Registered Nurse at Sameday Health. Shannon also held roles at York College of Pennsylvania as an Orientation Coordinator and Orientation Leader, where responsibilities included developing training programs and assisting new students. Shannon's educational background includes a Master of Science in Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's of Science in Registered Nursing from York College of Pennsylvania.
