Daniel Vallez

Daniel Vallez is an experienced software engineering leader with a strong background in managing teams and driving software development projects. As the Director of Software Engineering at Charter Communications since September 2015, Daniel oversees a team responsible for developing an enterprise VOD solution and champions agile development practices to enhance product quality. Prior to this role, Daniel served as Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture & VOD Systems Integration at Level 3 Communications, where leadership was demonstrated by guiding a team of engineers and business analysts. Daniel's career includes significant positions at EchoStar Corporation, ACTIVE Network, Local Matters, Buzzwire, OpenTV, CheapTickets.nl, and WarnerMedia, progressively advancing through various software development roles. Daniel holds a MS in Computer Science and a BS in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder.
