Hannes Heikinheimo

Hannes Heikinheimo is the Co-Founder and CTO at Speechly. Prior to that, they were a Data Science Partner at Reaktor Ventures, where they supported the best startups in the Nordic region. Hannes has also worked as a Language Engineer (Consulting) at Apple, and as Chief Data Scientist and Analytics Lead at Rovio Entertainment Ltd. and Nokia, respectively. Hannes is skilled in data wrangling, natural language processing, data pipelines and recommendation engine systems. Hannes also has experience with large scale data within the Finnish media and gaming industry, as well as with clients abroad.

Dr. Hannes Heikinheimo is a Doctor of Science in both Information and Computer Science from Y Combinator and Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Hannes also holds a Master of Science in Information Networks from Helsinki University of Technology. Dr. Heikinheimo was an exchange student at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, studying Machine Learning, Discrete Math, and Swedish. Hannes graduated from Tapiolan Lukio, and has certification from Coursera in Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Vuokatti Sports Institute in Alpine skiing instructor, and Scrum Alliance (training by Reaktor) in Certified Scrum Product Owner.
