John O'Brien

John O'Brien has a diverse work experience in finance and operations. John is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Speedrack Products Group, Ltd. starting from August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the CFO at Michigan Spring and Stamping from March 2017 to August 2021. John also has experience in the automotive industry, working as a Controller at both Magna International from September 2014 to March 2017 and Chassix from September 2012 to August 2014. John started their career at Sappi as a Controller in September 1998 and worked there until January 2010.

John O'Brien obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCompt) degree in accounting and auditing from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 1990. John later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Globalization from Grand Valley State University, which they completed between 2002 and 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, John O'Brien is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a specialization in South Africa (SA), having obtained this certification in May 1995.
