Steve Garside

Steve Garside has a strong background in operations and management in the construction and equipment rental industry. Steve began their career as an Operations Manager at Hire Direct in 1999 before joining Speedy Services in 2007 as a Regional Manager in London. Steve quickly progressed within the company, taking on roles as Regional Director and later as Regional Director London. In these positions, they successfully led large teams and improved business performance, achieving significant profits and market share growth. Steve then joined GAP Group Limited in 2014 as a Regional Operations Director, where they were responsible for revitalizing the London and South East region. Steve implemented a sustainable infrastructure for growth, achieved increases in revenue and profit, and ensured compliance and supplier management. Steve returned to Speedy Services in 2018 as a Strategic Account Director and later took on the role of Regional Operations Director. Throughout their career, Steve has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of delivering results.

Steve Garside attended Manchester Sixth Form College from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Steve also obtained various certifications, including the Construction Skills Certification Scheme from Ealing Council (London Borough of Ealing) in 2011, IOSH Managing Safety from IOSH in 2010, and LEEA Part 1 from Speedy Services in 2010.
