Cassandra Mack

Cassandra Mack, MSITM, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, CISA has a wealth of experience in the security and risk management field. Cassandra began their career in 2006 as the Director of EPMO, Risk, and Compliance at Green Dot Corporation. During their tenure there, they implemented SaaS solutions including SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay and SAP Ariba Contract Management. In 2011, they took on the role of Director of Cyber-Security and Digital Transformation at Caesars Entertainment. Following this, they worked at NCR Corporation as Senior Engagement Manager, Professional Services from 2013-2017.

In 2017, Cassandra became the vCISO | Senior Cyber Security/Transformation Advisor at Stealth - ISS Group Inc. where they co-managed virtualization and modernization efforts for 160 clients of Conduent/Atos within 18 months. Cassandra then joined T&T Consulting LLC as CISO | vCIO | Founder and Builder, where they led 6 security assessments across Critical Infrastructure, FinTech, and the two largest global Oil & Gas companies. Additionally, they served as a vCISO for retail and healthcare companies and led the implementation of 11 business continuity programs.

In 2020, Cassandra was appointed as the CISO, Chief Information Security Officer at College of Southern Nevada, the state’s largest higher education system. Cassandra was also the vCISO, Security and Advisory Services at Synoptek. Currently, they are the Head of Security & GRC (CSO) at Spekit and a Member at Chief. Additionally, they are a Mentor/Community Leader at Masterschool.

Cassandra Mack has a Master of Science in Information Technology Management and Information Security Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management and Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Cassandra is currently enrolled in the Certified Executive CISO Program at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2021 they obtained a Certified CISO certification from the SANS Technology Institute, and in 2020 they obtained a Certified Data Privacy Solution Engineer (CDPSE) certification from ISACA. In 2018 they obtained a Protecting Critical Infrastructure from Insider Threats certification from FEMA, and in 2017 they obtained a Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from ISACA. In 2008 they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, and in 2018 they obtained a Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) certification from the PCI Security Standards Council. Cassandra is also a Lifetime Member of the OWASP Foundation, and holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
