About the role: Spendflo is seeking a Software QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team. You will design, develop, drive and deliver high-level test strategies and methodologies. Have a hands-on approach to ensure they are implemented efficiently on time. You will partner with our team to help us build our QA functions and streamline our manual testing while liaising with other departments on technical issues. You will drive integrity and quality of technical work on significant projects. This role is a unique opportunity for someone looking to take on significant challenges and grow professionally.

  • Have 2+ years of professional QA experience in automation and manual testing for web applications.

  • Have experience with bug tracking software (experience with JIRA preferred.)

  • Have the ability to work in both a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual QA testing of new and existing products, performance and end to end products for Spendflo's web application.

  • Participate in analysis and design sessions to create test scenarios for input into test deliverables.

  • Identify and write bug reports.

  • Ability to analyse a potential issue, do root cause analysis, and assign an issue to the proper development team.

  • Follow up with Engineering and Product team members to see bug fixes through completion.

  • Review bug descriptions, functional requirements and design documents, incorporating this information into test plans and test cases.
