Ekaterina Bystrova has a decade of work experience in quality assurance engineering, primarily in the gaming industry. Ekaterina started their career at DataArt in 2012 as a Quality Assurance Intern before being promoted to a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer. In 2013, they joined Sperasoft as a Quality Assurance Engineer and worked their way up to Senior Quality Assurance Engineer and eventually Lead Quality Assurance Engineer. Ekaterina played a significant role in the development of Rainbow Six Siege. Ekaterina took a maternity leave in autumn 2018.
Ekaterina Bystrova pursued their education at ITMO University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from 2007 to 2011. Later, they continued their studies at ITMO University and completed a Master's degree in Applied Informatics from 2011 to 2013.
