Karna Contractor

Karna Contractor has extensive work experience in the animation industry. Karna currently holds the position of Lead Animator at Sperasoft since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Animator at 11 bit studios S.A. from 2020 to 2022. Before that, Karna worked as a Senior Animator at Technicolor from 2019 to 2020 and as an Animator at Double Negative in 2018. Karna also gained experience as a Senior Animator (Remote) at Games in 2017 and as a Senior Animator at Lemon Sky from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Karna worked at Lemon Sky as an Animator from 2014 to 2017. Furthermore, they served as an Animator/Sequence Team Leader at Morcan Studios from 2012 to 2013, as a Freelance Animator at Self Employed in 2012, as a Freelance Graphic Editor at Shri Ambika Scales MFG. Works in 2011, and as a Freelance Animator at CG Animation & Mo-cap Cleaner in 2011.

Karna Contractor has pursued education in various fields throughout their academic journey. In 2006, they enrolled at the Gujarat Law Society Institute of Commerce, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.com) in 2009. During this time, Karna studied subjects such as Accounts, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, English, and Commercial Communication.

Following their interest in animation, Karna attended the Think Tank Training Centre from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a Diploma in 3D Animation. This specialized program allowed their to focus on honing their skills in the field of animation.

In 2020, Karna furthered their knowledge in animation by participating in the Creature Animation Workshop (CAW). During this workshop, they expanded their expertise in Animation, Creature Animation, and VFX Animation.

Through these educational experiences, Karna Contractor has gained a diverse range of skills and knowledge in the fields of animation, commerce, and related disciplines.
