Boris Korenfeld

Global CTO & GM at Sphere Partners

Boris Korenfeld has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Boris currently holds the position of Global CTO & GM at Sphere Partners, a role they assumed in November 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as the CTO & GM at OpenWeb. Before that, Boris served as the Director of Engineering at Google from 2020 to 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, Boris worked at Gett, where they held multiple roles simultaneously. Boris served as the CTO & GM of the B2B product, overseeing technology vision, engineering productivity, and the development of customer-facing products. Boris also held the position of VP R&D, leading the end-to-end development of Gett's software.

Prior to Gett, Boris had an extensive tenure at HP Software, starting from 2009. In various roles, they managed R&D groups and teams, focusing on areas such as application performance management, collaboration, and core configuration management database (CMDB). Boris also worked as a Team Lead and Technical Lead at HP, acquired by Mercury Interactive.

Boris began their career as a Software Engineer at Comverse Technology, Inc. in 2000, where they contributed as part of the Chief Software Engineers Team, specializing in Java and J2EE development.

Boris Korenfeld completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Logistics from Bar-Ilan University, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Boris then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the same university, graduating in 2001. Boris furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University, completing their studies in 2005.
