Mark Howard

Mark Howard's work experience includes various roles in different companies.

From March 2022 onwards, Mark has been working as a Senior Sales Manager at Spicely Organics.

Prior to this, Mark worked at Nestlé Nutrition North America (Gerber) starting in February 2011. Mark held several positions during their tenure, including Associate Director of Sales Operations from March 2019 to September 2021. In this role, Mark led the sales operations department and provided support to the medical sales team by conducting training programs, developing strategic direction, setting KPIs, and implementing sales incentives. Before this, Mark served as a Field Sales Director from May 2014 to March 2019, where they led a team of region managers and hospital representatives responsible for large-scale sales. From February 2011 to May 2014, Mark held the position of Region Manager, where they led a team of hospital representatives and handled contract negotiations and sales in hospital and office-based settings.

Before joining Nestlé, Mark worked at Merck & Co., Inc. starting in February 1999. Mark held various roles during their tenure, including District Manager from March 2007 to February 2010, Franchise Trainer from May 2005 to March 2007, Hospital Sales Representative from January 2002 to May 2005, and Senior Professional Representative from February 1999 to January 2002. In these roles, Mark was responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating sales representatives, launching new products, developing training packages, and building relationships with key personnel to secure favorable formulary positions and negotiate contracts.

Overall, Mark has gained extensive experience in sales, leadership, training, and negotiation throughout their career in the pharmaceutical and nutrition industries.

Mark Howard earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Labor Relations from West Virginia University, where they studied from 1997 to 1998.
