Bob Hainsey

Bob Hainsey has extensive work experience in the field of science and technology. Bob started their career as a Photomask Engineer at Texas Instruments in 1983. From 1991 to 1997, they were a Scientist at Intel, contributing to the development of phase shift mask technology and transistor patterning technology. Bob then joined Electro Scientific Industries in 1998, where they held various roles, including Senior Director of Research and Development. Bob worked on applications utilizing UV laser technology and fiber-amplified laser technology for memory chip processing. In 2014, they became the Director of Science and Technology for SPIE, conducting market and technical analyses, developing ideas for new applications and markets, and facilitating communication within the community. Overall, Bob's experience spans multiple companies and sectors in the science and technology field.

Bob Hainsey obtained their PhD in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University, starting in 1979 and completing their studies in 1991.
