Stuart Howe, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Stuart currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, a non-profit organization that supports individuals with spinal cord injuries and disabilities. Prior to this role, they worked as an Advisor in Healthcare Innovation at ventureLAB and as the Program Director for the Centre of Excellence in Health Leadership at Schulich Executive Education Centre. Dr. Howe also held executive positions at The Hospital for Sick Children, including Executive Director of Business Services & Development and Director of Corporate Ventures. Stuart has served as a Board Member for several organizations, including Boomerang Health powered by SickKids, ScarX Therapeutics, Bedside Clinical Systems, OtoSim Inc, and Sprinkles Global Health Initiative. Additionally, earlier in their career, they worked as a Patent Agent at Orange & Associates | Fasken Martineau DuMoulin.

Stuart Howe, Ph.D. completed their education with a B.Sc. Hons degree in Biological Chemistry from the University of Essex, where they studied from 1984 to 1986. Subsequently, they pursued their Ph.D. in Chemistry at the same university from 1987 to 1991.
