Ashlee Wernimont

Ashlee Wernimont is a skilled background painter and freelance multidisciplinary illustrator and designer, currently working at SpindleHorse Toons since October 2023. With extensive experience in the animation industry, Wernimont served as the lead background artist and background painter at Floyd County Productions from March 2020 to October 2023, contributing to projects such as Archer and Hit Monkey. Prior experience includes background painting for Titmouse on Pendleton Ward's The Midnight Gospel in 2019 and working as a concept artist with FableLabs earlier that same year. Wernimont holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Communication Arts and Media Studies from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, earned in 2016.
