Shaheen E Lakhan, MD, PhD, FAAN has a long and varied work experience. Shaheen E Lakhan, MD, PhD, FAAN has an extensive education history. Shaheen E obtained their MD from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2009, cum laude. Shaheen E then earned their PhD in Biological Sciences from UCN European Programmes in 2008, and their MEd in Education Technology from the University of Southern Queensland in 2006. In 2010, they completed their residency in Neurology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and in 2014 they completed a Clinical Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2019, they completed a Postgraduate Course in Clinical Pharmacology, Drug Development & Regulation at Tufts University School of Medicine. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Virginia Medical License in 2017, Board Certification in Pain Medicine in 2016, Board Certification in Neurology in 2015, a Massachusetts Medical License in 2014, a California Medical License in 2012, BLS-ACLS Certification in 2009, and Associate Fellow status with the American Association for Clinical Chemistry in 2007.
