Ana Sarmiento

Ana Sarmiento has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainable sourcing and project management. Ana currently holds the position of Sustainable Sourcing Lead at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, starting in January 2024. Prior to this, they worked at RCS Global Group from 2018 to 2022, holding roles such as Head of Department and Project Director. In these positions, they were responsible for project delivery, oversight of operations, and completion of deliverables. Before joining RCS Global Group, Ana worked at Better Sourcing Program from 2015 to 2018, where they served as Partnerships Manager and Program Analyst. Finally, they have experience as an Analyst at RCS Global and as an External Analyst at Salamanca Group, where they conducted research, analysis, and forecasting related to political risk.

Ana Sarmiento completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science from Universidad San Pablo-CEU in the years 2007 to 2012. Ana also pursued an International Conflict Studies MA from King's College London, U. of London from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Ana received further education in Professional Competencies and Skills from the General Foundation of the University of Valladolid in 2012 and participated in the Programme d'Études Politiques Annuel in Relations Internationales at Sciences Po Aix in 2010-2011. Ana's secondary education was completed at Liceo Europa Secondary School, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate in the years 2005 to 2007.
