Richard Hildersley

Richard Hildersley is a seasoned environmental and energy management professional with extensive experience in leading initiatives aimed at carbon reduction and sustainability. Currently serving as the Group Energy & Environmental Manager at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc since September 2017, Richard is responsible for implementing the company's Net Zero Carbon reduction program and managing compliance with various environmental regulations. Prior roles include Energy Manager at Etex, where Richard oversaw significant budget and capital projects, and Interim Environmental Manager at Siniat. Richard's earlier career includes roles as an International Environmental Consultant at the British Safety Council and as a Senior Environmental Consultant at AMEC, providing guidance to government and industry sectors. Richard possesses a BA (Hons) in Environmental Studies from the University of Lincoln, complemented by various specialized training in environmental management and energy efficiency.
