Consultant Orthopaedic Foot And Ankle Surgeon

Robert Clayton is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with extensive experience in foot and ankle surgery and trauma. Currently serving as President of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society since November 2017, Robert has also held the positions of President Elect and Director of Media and Communication within the organization. In addition to this leadership role, Robert has been a Director and practicing orthopaedic surgeon at Resolve Medicolegal Limited since April 2014, and a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Spire Healthcare Group plc since February 2010. Furthermore, Robert operates as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at BMI Healthcare and as a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle and Trauma Surgeon at Fife NHS Board, both roles held since early 2010. His prior experience includes a Clinical Fellowship in Lower Limb Reconstruction at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Glasgow. Robert earned an MB ChB (Hons) in Medicine from The University of Edinburgh between 1994 and 2000, and attended The King's School in Canterbury from 1988 to 1993.
