Eric Younkin

Eric Younkin is a Senior Software Developer at Spire, specializing in weather products since October 2022, where responsibilities include creating infrastructure in AWS using Terraform, managing large datasets in AWS S3, and developing scalable systems for various data formats. Prior to this role, Eric served as a Physical Scientist at NOAA from August 2010 to November 2022, focusing on navigation, environmental impact predictions, and software development, including the creation of the open-source Kluster software package. Eric is a NOAA Commissioned Officer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from Western Carolina University.
