Irfan Lateef

Irfan Lateef, Ph.D. has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to solution sales, architecture, and consulting in the telecommunications industry. Irfan is currently serving as the Director of Solution Sales at Spirent Communications. Prior to this, they worked at NEC Corporation as a Principal Solution Architect, focusing on global 5G business development. Irfan also held roles at Sedona Systems, Strike Derivatives Inc., Coriant, Inc., Idexcel, Netcracker Technology, Cyan, Inc., Juniper Networks, and AT&T, where they gained extensive experience in sales solutions architecture, network management, technology strategy, product management, and systems engineering. Irfan Lateef has a Ph.D. and has demonstrated expertise in areas such as SDN/NFV, network virtualization, edge computing, and 5G mobility architecture.

Irfan Lateef, Ph.D. holds a Master of Science degree in Telecommunication from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Irfan also earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in JNCIA from Juniper Networks and MEF CE2.0 from MEF (mef.net).
