Tareq Darwish al-Haji

Tareq Darwish Al-Haji has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Tareq is currently working as the Regional Sales Director for MEA at Spirent Communications since October 2020. Previously, they served as a Key Account Manager at EXFO from March 2017 to September 2020. From January 2016 to February 2017, they worked as the RAN Domain Sales Manager at Viavi Solutions, where they established contacts with top C-level management in major operators across the MEA region and formulated future strategies for 5G and IoT offerings. Prior to that, they held the position of Strategic Account Manager at Intracom Telecom from January 2011 to December 2015, where they managed sales and customer relationships for different operators within the Middle East and North Africa regions. Tareq started their career at Motorola in 2000, where they held various roles including Presales Manager, Presales Support, and Senior System Engineer. Tareq began as an intern at Motorola Lebanon in 1999.

Tareq Darwish Al-Haji obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Jami'at Al-Ulum Al-Tatbiqiya, which they attended from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned their GCE from New English School in Amman, Jordan, between 1991 and 1995. Tareq later pursued and completed an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, studying from 2007 to 2009.
