Sunil Marolia has a strong background in product management and marketing, with expertise in wireless and mobility solutions. Sunil started their career at REMEC as an Electrical Engineer, specializing in RF and wireless technologies. In 2000, they joined Bitfone Corporation as the VP of Product Marketing, where they led the company's growth and eventual acquisition by HP. At HP, Sunil continued their role in product marketing, leading the integration of Bitfone technologies and launching new enterprise mobility products. In 2009, they became the President of Freestyle Ventures, Inc before joining Smith Micro Software as the Vice President of Product Management for Wireless & Mobility. There, they had P&L responsibilities for a $100M+ wireless software product portfolio, focusing on mobile applications and solutions. Most recently, Sunil has been serving as the VP of Product Management for Connected Car/LoJack by Spireon since 2016.

Sunil Marolia obtained an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BSEE) from UCLA between 1991 and 1995. In addition, Sunil Marolia has a certification in Pragmatic Product Marketing, although the details of where and when they obtained it are unknown.
