Kimberly Caldwell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kimberly most recently worked at Spirit AeroSystems as the Senior Director of Global Research & Technology, where they led R&D strategy, portfolio management, and collaborative R&D. Kimberly also defined corporate global technology strategies and expanded partnerships in the aerospace and manufacturing communities. Prior to this, they held several leadership positions at CENTRA Technology, Inc, including Senior Engineer, where they led Engineering Division growth and contributed to various defense programs. Kimberly also worked as a Research Faculty at The Johns Hopkins University, a member of the Engineering Science & Mechanics Advisory Board at Virginia Tech College of Engineering, and a Senior Aircraft Design Engineer at AVID LLC. Their earlier experience includes working as a Systems Engineer at CENTRA Technology, Inc and as a Staff Engineer at Ocean City Research Corporation - Corrpro Companies.

Kimberly Caldwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Virginia Tech, having attended from 1990 to 1995. Kimberly then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace from the University of Maryland, from 1998 to 2000.
